Yet Another Reason to Celebrate
Celebrate Your Faith.

We thank you for your support as we celebrate the fourth anniversary of CelebrateYourFaith.com. Looking back, it is amazing all that the Lord has done through this business. We are looking forward to celebrating all that is coming in the future!
This has been the dream of our hearts; four years of learning, growing, and celebrating making a difference. Doing what we love with amazing customers and fans, beautiful artisans and their creations, and our special team of believers who work together for a great cause.
When we started CelebrateYourFaith.com, we deliberately chose July 7, 2007 (7.7.07) for our grand opening, as a powerful symbolic scriptural reminder of the Great Commission (see the post about “God’s perfection: Number 7“).
All of us at CelebrateYourFaith.com are dedicated to reaching the world with the Good News of the Gospel. It is our heart to support mission work and missionaries with proceeds from every purchase. This has been one of the biggest blessings to us, to see our support for missions directly affect the lives of people in countries all over the globe.
For more about our company story, see this article (PDF) from the Christian Booksellers Association’s November 2008 issue.

A return to Africa
From CYF-supported missionary, Jennifer R.:
I will be traveling with a team to Uganda from September 21-30, 2010. I believe this is a breakthrough trip in many ways: for individual members of the team, for the ministry we work with in Uganda, and for the entire nation of Uganda.
There are five members of our team, and five is the number of Grace, so I believe we are specifically on a mission to minister the grace of God to the people of Uganda. Five is also the number of fingers on a hand, and as such, we see ourselves working together as a fully-functioning hand.
Personally, this is a “return” trip for me. A “restoration” trip. A return to Africa after a 7 year absence and a restoration of the physical ability to go to Africa.
The continent of Africa holds a special place in my heart, and the Lord first called me there in 2002. This is the 4th time I will be in Africa, although it’s the first time to Uganda. After battling some serious health issues for the past 5 years, the Lord spoke to me and said now is the time for me to return. I am placing my full trust in Him as I take this step of faith. My expectations are high for what He is going to do both in me and through me.

A CYF missions update
One of our missionary partners is going into a sensitive nation in southeast Asia. This is an exerpt from a recent letter:
It been a while since I’ve written, I’ve let time get away from me. Last prayer request was for my trip to Liberia and Ghana. I’ll sum it up on a paragraph but please visit www.tothenations.com for more testimonies and photos of the people.
The people of Liberia had a hope and expectancy that I’ve never seen in a people before. They were waiting upon our arrival, pulling on the gift of God in each one of us, and so gracious. Ministry was a variety. While we carried the Word of God to the churches to encourage and build up, we were also able to visit the schools, orphanages, and villages. All the ministry was amazing. As the Lord reached down and the hope that was inside of them was changed to things seen. Whether it was healing, the Lord healed, encouragement, the Lord encouraged or a Touch of Love, the Lord dispensed that too. It was wonderful.
I knew in my heart from last fall’s trips to SE Asia that I would be going back to minister to the region. I just did not know when or where. I kept it up in prayer and started making preparations for things to come.
In February I met a Pastor who was visiting from
location deleted. As we had fellowship he started speaking directly to my heart. I like to call it “Reading my mail.” He was speaking to me of things that the Lord had told me were to come. I was excited but did not say anything. He did ask if I would ever be interested in ministering there. I indicated that yes, at the right time, I’d go.Two weeks later I received an invitation to go and minister at a revival service. I put it up in prayer asking the Lord for three confirmation. I received all three within 12 hours. One was very specific and was answered in a big way.
Your prayers have sustained me through all I’m called to do. You all play a vital role… so I need your support again. I ask you to pray in agreement the following and please lift me up as the spirit reminds you of me.
- Protection as we travel.. no harm or incident
- All luggage to arrive at the end destination My backpack is packed and will be checked. I’m bringing items for the pastor over.
- Health of me… I’ve noticed an increase in “hits” but I push them back…
- For sanctified food and water…
- For the Assignments, for me to hear with my ears, receive in my heart, and embrace all that the Lord is directing me to do. I know that there is a message He wants to draw out.
- For the Holy Spirit to have absolutely free reign and for me not to lean on any part of my own understanding
- For my eyes to be open to see the people as the Lord sees them
- For me to be changed from glory to glory as I experience more of the Love of God.
- Whatever else is put on your hearts.
As I corresponded with the Pastor, I have come to realize that indeed the Lord is planning something really special. I even have been set up with attire (from previous trips) that will fit in just lovely! He truly prepares the way.
God bless all of you, and I’m praying for the Lord to move suddenly in all of your lives to take you to the next level.
Our missions support at CelebrateYourFaith is active, sincere, and heartfelt! Please keep this work in your thoughts and prayers.
Gratitude (and comments from happy customers)
Happy New Year from all of us at CelebrateYourFaith.com!
The year 2009 brought us many blessings, as well as new friends. We trust that 2010 has more of the same in store for the CYF community.
We owe a special thanks to those of you who provided unsolicited feedback – this has encouraged us greatly. For example, from Robb:
I just wanted to say that I don’t know how you did it, but I just placed an order on Monday and it just arrived here! I’ll actually have a present (not just pictures) to wrap for my wife! I’m very blessed to have a great job, but things have been so hectic that I haven’t had a chance to shop for her. Thank you again, and many blessings for you and your family.
Or Spence who said,
Thank you so much for your quick response. I sure am glad the Lord led me to you folks.
And Jim & Sandra S. who wrote,
We just received our Holman Large print Reference Bible (NKJV). We couldn’t be happier. You personalized it beautifully & we have received it in only 7 days. It was a pleasure doing business with you!
We’ll be posting ongoing customer feedback like this on our Testimonials page.
Bringing blessings to the world with symbols of faith is a big part of our mission. We’re looking forward to using our blog to share things we see the Lord doing, with more artist features, missions updates from CYF co-founder Kay M., and more, in the upcoming year.
Introducing jewelry artisan Ashleigh George
CelebrateYourFaith.com is now featuring the work of award-winning studio jeweler Ashleigh George, whose rich yet playful designs are inspired by Scripture along with the beautiful and intricate patterns found in nature. Each piece is handmade with love, and celebrates love, joy, and special occasions.
Ashleigh’s fascination with jewelry began at an early age in her journeys through the contents of her grandmother’s jewelry boxes. She was intrigued by the history of each piece, the memories they carried, and what they meant to her grandmother. Ashleigh’s own creations embody this tradition. Her hope is that in owning and wearing her designs, you will be inspired by what they represent, and that this inspiration will imbue your own memories with comfort and strength.
