Independence Day, July 4

What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord! (Psalm 33:12)

The United States of America turns 234 years old on Sunday, July 4. On that date we celebrate our nation that was founded on Judeo-Christian principles.

Our founding documents, i.e. the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, were informed by Biblical principles, including the freedom of religion from State control, and the right to worship according to one’s conscience. These principles are a part of our history, and are reflected in American patriotism. (You can read the full text of the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution on the National Archives website.)

According to various polls, between 58-82% of Americans (depending upon region of the country) identify themselves as Christians. The most widely accepted polls say that 76% of Americans self-identify as Christians, mostly in Protestant denominations.

At CelebrateYourFaith.com, we seek unique and meaningful gift and home decor items to offer you, to express your faith and bring blessing to your lives. Many of our products reflect our national heritage of faith. Some of those items include:

The American Patriot’s Bible intersects the teachings of the Bible with the history of the Unites States while applying it to today’s culture. Beautiful full-color insert pages spotlight America’s greatest thinkers, leaders, and events that present the rich heritage and future of our great nation.

Inside the Bible’s pages lie the answers to all the problems that mankind has ever known. I hope Americans will read and study the Bible. The Bible can touch our hearts, order our minds, and refresh our souls.

- Ronald Reagan, 40th President of the United States

We wish you a happy, festive, and blessed July 4 holiday, and remind us all to especially remember our military personnel in your prayers and thanks as we celebrate our country’s Independence Day.
